The Era of Khaki Ethics, was an investigation into how design shapes our current ethical landscape in an era of late capitalism, unexplored internet ethics, and a new ‘woke’ social justice. We used our design and art backgrounds to push this academic research of ‘The Khaki Era’ through creating physical forms and immersive experiences. This Era of Khaki Ethics referred to the layered and granular complexity of the commercial, ethical and social systems in which we navigate. This new Era has become a theoretical and visual framework that can be used to anticipate, interpret and create in the extreme present.
